For those who like simplicity and clarity, we have clearly written our General Conditions. These terms and conditions are from light-up-shoes.com and apply to all purchases made through light-up-shoes.com.

How do we handle our conditions?

It is not possible to set everything in general conditions. That is why we do not do it. We act with all reason and want the best for you. Nevertheless light-up-shoes.com cannot avoid the well-known small print. To keep it simple, we have written it down for you to understand.

However, if you like heavy fare, we have also written down the more difficult General Terms and Conditions for you.

The entrepreneur, that’s us. In fact, we do everything we can to make you as comfortable as possible.

Applicability

These General Conditions tell you what we do for you and what we expect from you. Of course, this only applies if you buy or have bought something from us.
Sometimes we offer separate conditions for a product. These General Conditions also apply in that case.
In the event of conflicting terms, the terms most favorable to you will apply.

Article 4
We always tell you what, when and how you can buy a product and how much it costs.
Is there an error on our website? Then you can take our word for it. Unless the error is clearly a mistake and you could have known that in advance, of course.

Article 5
We provide a secure web environment so you can search for your ideal product with peace of mind.
Once you place an order with us, you will receive a confirmation email.
We’ll complete all the information and data you need, but you’ll also find plenty on our website. Just be sure to keep your digital receipt.

Right of withdrawal

Article 6
Have you received the product and you are not satisfied with it? You can return it within 30 days of receipt.
You are not allowed to give a reason for this. “Therefore” is a sufficient reason and we will pick up the product from you within 5 business days.

Obligations during the cooling-off period

Article 7
During the cooling-off period, the time between the receipt of the product and the time when you (possibly) want to return the product, you may unpack the product as you would in a store. However, if you use the product in such a way that it is no longer in “store condition,” or the packaging is damaged or missing, you may receive less money back for the product.

Exercise of the right of withdrawal

Once you notify us within 60 days that you wish to return something, we will do the following:

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

If you cannot return a product, it will be clearly stated on the product page.

Unfortunately, you cannot return the following items:

Products that spoil quickly or have a limited shelf life.
Alcoholic beverages, the price of which was agreed at the time of the conclusion of the contract and the actual value of which depends on market fluctuations.

All prices are inclusive of VAT.
For products with “Low Price Guarantee” we guarantee that you will not find a cheaper offer for the same product in the Netherlands on the day of your purchase. If you paid a lower price somewhere in the Netherlands, we will pay you back the price difference and add a nice box of wine! Of course we would like to hear from you where you were offered the lower price.
Compliance with the contract and warranty

Article 12
Our products are guaranteed for 3 years from the date of purchase against defects caused by production or material defects. The warranty period is 2 years for business and catering purposes.
Of course, damage caused by improper handling is not covered by the warranty.
If something is wrong with the product, which is our fault, we will repair the product or replace it with a new product.
Make sure that you always include the proof of purchase (the receipt) with your request.
Delivery and execution

Article 13
We always offer free shipping in the Netherlands and Belgium. Do you live somewhere else? Then ask for delivery options first before placing an order.
If we can not deliver the product within 30 days, you can cancel your order free of charge, unless we have agreed otherwise with you. We will then ensure that the amount is received in your account within 7 days.
If we are unable to deliver an ordered product, we will refund your money or offer you a similar alternative.
If a product is damaged or lost before it reaches you or your designated recipient, this is our responsibility.

Payment

Modification of the General Conditions

If we change the General Conditions, you will always find them on our website.

Article 16
If you should have a complaint, we have a good rule for that: let us know quickly that you have a complaint. Also make sure that you describe your complaint as clearly as possible so that we can help you as quickly and effectively as possible.
We’ll make sure you get a response from us with a resolution within 7 days, or you’ll hear how much time we need to get everything in order.

Disputes

If we really can’t settle it together, then you can submit your complaint to Geschillencommissie Webshop within 12 months.
